The Long Branch Public Library will award scholarships for Career Online High School to qualified learners looking to earn a high school diploma and advance their careers. This is an easy to access, self-paced pilot program made possible by a grant awarded to the New Jersey State Library from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
The Career Online High School (COHS) through the Long Branch Public Library is open to all library card holders. If you do not have a library card, don't worry! It's a breeze. Simply fill out the online registration form or visit your library today! Applicants who successfully complete an online self-assessment and prerequisite course, followed by an in-person interview, will be considered for enrollment.
Once enrolled, COHS pairs each student with an online academic coach, who provides the student with an individual career path, offers ongoing guidance, evaluates performance and connects the student with the resources needed to master the courses. Many students are able to graduate in as few as 4 to 6 months by transferring in previously earned high school credits.
Interested? You can learn more about the program by visiting the Career Online High School or submitting the online form today! If you're ready for a second chance to finish what you started, please contact Lisa Kelly 732-222-3900 ext. 235
