Kick Off Your Summer Reading by Downloading the READsquared app!
Summer Reading has begun! From July 1st until August 31st, patrons of all ages can participate by downloading the READsquared app and record the books that they have completed. This year patrons have the opportunity to win one of the six Amazon Fire Tablets donated by the Friends of the Library! With an Amazon Fire Tablet patrons can enjoy reading eBooks via Libby and Hoopla and stream free TV shows and movies via Kanopy. Sign up here!
How it Works:
· Register Online Here – Patrons are limited to registering one account per person. Parents are allowed to create an account for their child to record their reading activity. Children who sign up will be able to earn badges eligible to be redeemed for exciting prizes and a raffle entry to win a Amazon Fire Tablet.
· Track Your Reading – Log in here and track your reading to earn points.
· Keep Reading! – The more books you read and record via the READsquared app, the more badges you can earn!
How to get started with the READsquared App:
Step 1: Register your account

Step 2: Select the type of account you wish to register.
Parents should select "Myself + Other Readers" when they create an account for their child. All other users should select "Myself".
Step 3: Select An Age Group
Step 4: Register
Provide your information in order to create an account.
Patrons can opt in to receiving book recommendations and set their preferences.
Step 5: Start logging your reading.
Any books, ebooks, and audiobooks read from July 1st - August 31st count towards the Summer Reading challenge. Earn badges to increase your chances of earning a raffle ticket.
