Please note: Internet use is limited to research or educational purposes. To surf the web, check email or play games, please use the public computers.


Tuesdays and Thursdays ​4:00pm - 7:00pm

Four public computers are available for use by adults and children in 1/2 hour increments. A library card or ID is required. The Elberon Branch also provides an online catalog and online resources. (see above for details)

Public Computers:   A Long Branch Public Library Card or ID is required - users have 2 hrs. of use per day, however computers log off after each hour.  Guest card holders are permitted 1 hr. per day.  Please bring a USB stick to save documents.  See below for printing details.

**Printing Documents - Black and white printers are available on each floor. Each page printed costs 10 cents. Color prints are $1.00.

​Online Resources: We offer business, research, genealogical & educational research tools accessible with your library card. Many are available from home. Online tools can be found on our main page.

Computers for Kids: Computers, with filtered Internet access & game computers are available in the Children's Room. Children, up to age 11, can use the computers for 1/2 hour daily. 

Networked Microfilm Reader: A networked microfilm reader is available on the lower level to search and make copies of local newspapers, city directories, local history materials and more.  *** The microfilm reader is currently not available due to our renovation project.***
