NJ STATE Department of Labor Created

a New Web Portal for Unemployment

The Department of Labor created a new web portal that allows NJ residents to contact the Department of Labor directly. This is a helpful tool for residents who have questions about their applications. To submit a message, residents must go to www.myunemployment.nj.gov and follow the instructions below:

 

  • On the top navigation, scroll to the right for “Need Help” and unveil the drop down menu

  • Choose Send an Email

A Message from NJ One-Stop Career Centers:

As a preventative measure to slow the spread of COVID‐19, and speed up our service delivery, we are announcing that in‐person Unemployment Insurance services will be temporarily suspended at all New Jersey One‐Stop Career Center offices effective immediately. Dramatically reducing the number of customers in our facilities is in the best health interests of you, our dedicated staff, as well as our customers.

Customers who need to file are encouraged to apply online at www.MyUnemployment.nj.gov . If customers are unable to access the internet, please have them call:

COMPUTERS & SERVICES

 



 

Public Computers:

A Long Branch Public Library Card or ID is required - users have 2 hrs. of use per day, however computers log off after each hour.  Guest card holders are permitted 1 hr. per day.  Please bring a USB stick to save documents.  See below for printing details.

**Printing Documents - Black and white printers are available on each floor. Each page printed costs 10 cents. Color prints are $1.00. Check with the staff for more details.

** Faxing and Scanning services are available, please call ahead for any associated fees and limits

​Online Resources:

We offer business, research, genealogical & educational research tools accessible with your library card. Many are available from home. Online tools can be found on our main page.

Computers for Kids:

Computers, with filtered Internet access & game computers are available in the Children's Room. Children, up to age 11, can use the computers for 1/2 hour daily.  ​​​

​ELBERON BRANCH :
Four public computers are available for use by adults and children in 1/2 hour increments. A library card or ID is required. The Elberon Branch also provides an online catalog and online resources. (see above for details)
